The uncertain economy of today has presented various problems to organizations of all sizes across all countries and industries. It is said that in large tech companies, 70,000 jobs have been lost over the past year. Because of this, it is safe to say that businesses have laid off and lost many talented and experienced people from their companies. This can only be seen as a negative as the loss of talent in cybersecurity fields may cost up to 10.5 trillion dollars annually due to cyberattacks and breaches being much more successful. These cybersecurity woes mean that governance, risk and compliance regulations are changing as well as adapting to try and keep up with the shrinking of IT teams.
