This is my simplified view of corporate transport company networks as they exist today. The reliance on expensive Managed Service Providers, MPLS, Tier 4 Data Centres and VPN traffic. Hybrid cloud with O365 and SaaS take up using centralised MOD boundary services – wasted bandwidth, delays etc. Increased home workers while the natural pursuit of efficiency in performance and functionality has focused service and civilian personnel on ICT capabilities delivered from the cloud.
