Ransomware attack hits maritime giant DNV

The Norwegian maritime company DNV has been hit by a ransomware attack forcing them to shut down some of their servers. The attack affected roughly 1000 ships using their ShipManager program to do so. The group responsible for the attack is yet to be discovered or revealed as DNV is working with the authorities to work toward finding the perpetrators.
