Port of Los Angeles Releases RFQ for New Cruise Terminal Development

The Port of LOS ANGELES is seeking to expand its cruise port operations. The port has released a draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of a new Outer Harbor Cruise Terminal and the redevelopment of the Inner Harbor Cruise Terminal. The port is accepting comments and suggestions on the draft RFP until March 3rd. The number of ships calling at the port is expected to increase to 250 by 2026, and the size of the ships and the number of incoming passengers per port call is also expected to witness a hike. Hence the effort to increase the cruise handling capacity at the port.
