Only 60 per-cent of U.S. transit agencies have cyber-attack preparedness plans

Most of the transport agencies in the U.S. don’t have a plan for countermeasures when cyber-attacks threaten them. As a result, there is a considerable risk of putting themselves in a position where they cannot handle cyber threats, so it’s not easy to say what could happen if a significant cyber-attack occurs. This sector is relevant because it takes part in the transportation of millions of people each day in the U.S., and having security breaches wouldn’t look good for those who use the transit services and for the security of the transport used.
