IATA: Global airline industry will be back in the black in 2023

After the uncertainty of the years that Covid brought and the diminished number of air travels worldwide in 2021-2022. It is expected to have an increase in flights and passengers in 2023 that we didn’t see in the last couple of years. It’s obvious how difficult it was for millions of people to move from one place to another because of the lack of airplane travel due to the Covid pandemic. Most airports were closed worldwide, so it was almost impossible to reach any destination, even if it was planned before the Covid pandemic. Since mid-2022, the airports have been opening steadily, and people have started traveling more and more because many restrictions were lifted, making things less difficult for those who got stuck somewhere and couldn’t fly. Some travelers had planned a vacation before Covid restrictions and couldn’t make it at that time. The opening of airports operation again means that profits will stabilize. Many airlines were paralyzed, and most of their airplanes were stuck at airports, and the reopening of activities will help this transport sector to stand up and grow again.
