France Legally Bans Short-Haul Flights.

France have recently passed a bill that will see short-haul flights completely banned. This bill is historic as it completely rules out chances for airlines to run services between many different significant French cities, with Nantes, Lyon, Bordeaux and even Paris being affected. Despite this some environmentalists are not fully convinced by this law as it was reported by The Times that routes banned by this law accounted to a mere 3% of domestic French flight emissions, meaning that although positive there wouldn’t be a huge impact.
