A Birmingham-based haulage firm by the name of Cross Transport has now entered administration, placing 117 jobs at risk. Cross Transport had seemed to be on a trajectory toward failure since the release of their results in February 2022 finding that profit margins had fell from 27% to 18%. The firm, led by director Dean Cross was very confident that the firm would return to success in the forthcoming year, however his acknowledgement of key risks such as the confidence in the online shopping sector and the wider economy market alongside the recent administration news it seems that the firm is under more problems than ever before.
