Eight European airlines and the International Air Transport Association have announced that they will be taking legal action against the Dutch government’s decision to cap flights at Amsterdam Schipol Aiport. They believe this cap transgresses national, European, and even international legislation with it not only being unnecessary but also damaging with no real substantiation. It was revealed in a joint statement by the KLM Group consisting of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, KLM Cityhopper, Martinair, and Transavia Airlines along with international airlines such as Delta, easyJet, and TUI fly.
